OUR STORY
Momentum Apparel began in early 2005 when two cousins, Branden Chapman and Wade Anderson, decided they wanted to make T-shirts with funny sayings on them for friends, family and profit, under the moniker Hollywood Hoodies. With the help of a few generous family members we were able to purchase a few pieces of second hand equipment and loaded them in to the basement of my house. We built our own washout booth, screen racks, and burning units which are all still in use today!
We quickly realized that we could become a lot more than our original goal had intended us to be. We soon began making screen printed apparel for local companies and organizations, but we knew the Hollywood Hoodies brand had no appeal to the clients we were trying to attract. That brought us to the month long journey to find a new name for our company. We literally went through thousands of ideas, and hours and hours of discussions before we both agreed on the Momentum Apparel label. And in November of 2005 Momentum Apparel was registered as our official company.
Over the years we've grown in size and we've moved into a larger facility and replaced the second-hand equipment with newer machinery allowing for greater productivity, and a superior finished product for our clients. We strive to be the only choice for logo 'd apparel in Alberta, and soon we will be branching out across the nation. We've even had some of our product find it's way to Trinidad and Tobago!
